Warmup

Valorant Warmup Routine Before You Queue Ranked

Queuing cold into Bind mid is how you donate a round. A short Valorant warmup — even ten to fifteen minutes — makes your first real fight feel like your third.

Why your first round should not be the warmup

Most players boot the game and die to the first clean peeker. Hands are cold and audio is not dialed. Treat warmup as part of the session.

Range practice and a couple of unrated games exist so your ranked games are not the experiment.

A simple 15-minute routine

Minutes 1–5: tracking and short bursts in the range. Minutes 6–10: peek practice — jiggle, counter-strafe, pre-aim head height. Minutes 11–15: one focused habit block, like clearing a site corner.

Keep the routine identical for a week. Rotate maps later — Bind one day, Ascent the next — after the habit sticks.
